As we aim high and are on our way to become a trusted partner for our clients’ delivery solutions, we are looking for a new colleague who will further enhance our growth in the Czech market. This is a perfect opportunity for a sales manager who is not afraid to tackle new challenges and come with their own contribution toward our common goal.
What will your new role involve?
Being the manager of the local sales team in the Czech Republic (6 people, each one taking care of their respective region), setting ambitious sales targets, KPIs, and motivating the team to achieve them
Paying close attention to the team coordination, ensuring budget expectations are met in terms of volumes as well as revenue per piece
Cooperating with Key Account Manager on bringing new VIP clients on board (selling B2C parcel delivery services for e-commerce to door, PUDO, and APM - both domestic and international)
Focusing on bringing new e-commerce stores to Allegro marketplace as new merchants using WE|DO as their courrier of choice as well as creating new business opportunities by selling our delivery services to third-party e-commerce stores
Educating merchants about our delivery solutions and selling on Allegro marketplace domestically and internationally (SK, PL, etc.)
Listening to our clients and Working with tech team to continuously develop the merchant-facing interfaces to facilitate their dispatch performance
Reporting directly to Poland headquarters, so you can expect to travel from time to time
What skills will help you to excel in this role?
Fluent Czech (native or near-native level) and English (B2+ level)
5+ years of experience in sales/business development in e-commerce or logistics
5+ years of experience in managing sales teams (setting goals, KPIs, sales metrics, and subsequent evaluation)
Proven track record of successful acquisition of high-profile and high-volume clients, ideally in logistics
You are a great communicator and possess very good negotiation and interpersonal skills:
ability to lead demanding negotiations, convince client about our solutions, and close deals
ability to effectively manage and lead a team
ability to listen to clients’ feedback and take measures to apply it
You are comfortable working in a dynamic and (sometimes) not 100% process-oriented environment
