People Experience Program Manager

The RVO Health People Experience Team is hiring a People Experience Program Manager.  We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual who can contribute to our mission to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture where every employee feels valued, supported, and empowered. As a  People Experience Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our people culture strategies and promoting the way our team members build community. 

As the Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our Employee Impact Groups (EIG) and other People Experience programs.

Where You'll Be

To prioritize togetherness, culture, and accountability, RVO Health operates on an in-office work schedule. We expect employees to work from our South Charlotte office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. You are welcome to work remotely Mondays and Fridays if you wish.

What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive work environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive culture-enhancing programs, support employee well-being, and ensure that our organizational values are reflected in all aspects of the workplace.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our Employee Impact Groups (EIGs), commonly known as Employee Resource Groups 
  • Collaborate with EIG leaders to develop and execute the EIG program strategy, including planning events, managing budgets and expenses, and ensuring successful implementation
  • Partner with People Experience teammates to build culture-enhancing programs and drive business results 
  • Review existing policies and programs and recommend improvements to increase equity and inclusion 
  • Partner with legal and compliance to develop and implement our strategy and obligations for state and federal equal employment opportunity and affirmative action requirements as a state and federal contractor
  • Partner with and support our Learning and Development team in collaboration with our initiatives to build culture and community 
  • Monitor the progress and impact of people experience programs and evolve strategy to foster togetherness and community
  • Partner with legal and compliance experts to ensure ongoing compliance with local and federal laws

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in building culture, community, and belonging  (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) or similar functions, demonstrating a strong understanding of employee community building principles and best practices.
  • 2+ years of experience in state and federal affirmative action compliance or related HR role
  • Strong knowledge of affirmative action regulations, EEO laws, and best practices
  • Human Resources experience preferred but not required 
  • A proven ability to connect with stakeholders and proactively engage them, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in all people experience initiatives and programs.
  • Strong prioritization skills, enabling you to meet deadlines and follow through on tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing you to convey messages clearly and concisely.
  • Consistent alignment with our core values, including asking "why" first, paving new roads, understanding the importance of collaboration, acting with conviction, and tending to the overall well-being of our team.

Pursuant to various state Fair Pay Acts, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company. The following benefits are provided by RVO Health, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 
    *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
