🏡🏢This is a Hybrid role, the Decisioning team work from our London (Shoreditch) Offices 2 days per week (if you require further flexibility please let us know).
Decisioning at Capital on Tap
The Decisioning Team owns the credit decision platform (GDS Link) at Capital on Tap, where customer flows, policy rules, and scorecards are implemented. The Decisioning team works closely with Data Science, Credit Underwriting, Business Operations, and Engineering teams to understand what implementations and updates are needed to ensure we make the correct decisions for new credit applications.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Decision Systems Analyst, you’ll implement and update customer flows, policy rules, and scorecards, as well as test and maintain our decision platform. You’ll also find ways to optimise our underwriting and credit decisioning by utilising new data, data sources, and strategies. In your role you will:
✨Conduct ad-hoc analyses to understand portfolio performance
✨Build out monitoring for automated decisioning
✨Work with the wider IT & Engineering teams to ensure we have robust data to support our underwriting
✨Support the Credit and Data Science teams with strategic projects, for example, the implementation of a new scorecard or pilot
✨Regularly review and update underwriting rules to ensure they align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
We're Looking For
✨Good knowledge of scripting - experience with LUA, Python, or Ruby would be preferred
✨Experience in software configuration or experience working with "Decision" or "Rule" Engines such as GDS Link, Experian PowerCurve, FICO Blaze, or Provenir
✨Knowledge of database structures such as SQL or MongoDB
✨Experience of network protocols (either SOAP or REST)

🤝Interview Process:
🤝First stage: 30 minute intro and values call with Talent Partner (Video call)
🤝Second stage: 30 minute CV overview with Team Manager (Video call)
🤝Final stage: 45/60 minute case study (nothing to prepare in advance) with Team Manager and Analyst. This will be followed by a 20/30 minute technical chat with a senior team member. (In person, on the same day)
