About the Role
As a Deal Strategy Manager at Highspot you will partner with sales, finance, accounting, legal, and other stakeholder teams to ensure agreement pricing and business terms are consistent with internal Highspot policies and processes. 

What You'll Do

  • Be a critical member of the Sales support team that acts as a key enabler of deal formation and execution with a focus on minimizing sales cycle times while optimizing revenue, profitability, and/or market share based on business priorities.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, legal, finance, and other teams to address deal related challenges and drive business success. 
  • Apply knowledge, skills, and judgment to make moderately difficult decisions and resolve issues.
  • Train sales and other teams on Deal Strategy processes, policies and best practices to improve overall effectiveness. 
  • Work independently on assignments and escalations that are diverse in scope, requiring seasoned judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
  • Share best practices with and provide cross-training for peers, team members, and outside business units to enhance the quality and efficiency of support and contribute to the knowledge base.
  • Ensure all approved requests have been properly documented in accordance with approval policies, escalated to the appropriate approval level, and resolved within SLA.
  • Work closely with Legal in reviewing and negotiating agreements such as MSAs, & DPAs.  
  • Continuously review deal progression and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal deal cycle times and precise execution.
  • Participate in and/or lead various internal projects related to Deal Strategy optimization.

Your Background

  • 4+ years of Deal Desk or Deal Strategy experience in a SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and deal dynamics. 
  • Sound business judgment that allows you to navigate ambiguity, work independently, but also escalate issues when necessary. 
  • Highly responsive with excellent communication skills and a desire to deliver superior client service.
  • Experience using Salesforce CPQ 
  • Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including internal staff, managers, and external partners. 
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to spot errors. 
  • Capable of explaining concepts clearly and credibly across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage time efficiently in a stressful environment.

Base salary range: $90,000 - $134,000. Employees are eligible to receive stock options and may also receive other forms of compensation.

The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
