POSITION SUMMARY
The DC Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing internal communication between Princess Polly’s retail operations and its third-party logistics (3PL) provider. This role ensures the seamless execution of retail fulfillment, inventory management, and returns processing, while adapting to changing business needs to meet service level agreements. The manager will coordinate all retail-related processes, ensuring that anything the retail and internal teams require that touches the DC or 3PL is handled efficiently.

This position requires a deep understanding of internal Princess Polly systems, strong adaptability, and excellent communication and organizational skills to maintain alignment across teams and support the business as it scales.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, THIS IS WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AS OUR DC RETAIL MANAGER:
-Serve as the primary point of contact between Princess Polly and the 3PL for all retail store-related operations.
-Ensure the 3PL is equipped with the necessary tools, resources, and information to execute retail fulfillment, inventory management, returns processing, and RFID tagging in line with SLAs.
-Communicate regularly with the 3PL to resolve any issues that arise, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and ensure continuous improvement in performance.
-Oversee and coordinate the flow of goods from the DC to retail stores, ensuring all retail orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
-Collaborate with the merchandising, logistics, and retail operations teams to ensure store replenishments are timely and stock levels are maintained.
-Manage any inventory discrepancies related to retail stock and work with the 3PL to resolve issues quickly, particularly around RFID accuracy and stock counts.
-Ensure returns from stores are processed efficiently and correctly, working closely with the 3PL to adhere to returns SLAs.
-Continuously assess and improve processes within the retail fulfillment operations, ensuring that the 3PL can scale and adapt to changing business demands.
-Participate in cross-functional meetings, representing retail fulfillment operations, and ensuring alignment between the DC, 3PL, and internal teams.
-Collaborate with teams across Princess Polly, including retail operations, merchandising, CX, and logistics, to keep communication smooth and ensure all parties are aligned with the operational goals.
-Provide regular updates and reports to the Senior Operations Manager on the status of retail fulfillment, inventory levels, returns processing, and 3PL performance.

COMMERCIAL AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management (focus on retail fulfillment a plus).
-Experience managing external vendor relationships.
-Strong knowledge of inventory management, outbound logistics, and retail operations.
-Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on adaptability in a scaling business.

SALARY BANDING: 80-90k
