Your Impact

As Inventory Control Lead, you will be an instrumental in the success of Axon’s global distribution center and manufacturing centers. Axon will rely on you and your team to be key in collaborating across all functional areas of the supply chain and manufacturing to ensure company resources are accurately controlled. You will coordinate with your team across the organization to develop, execute and maintain inventory management policy, while maintaining the flexibility to adapt to the company’s dynamic business needs.

What You'll Do

  • Lead cycle count teams across the supply chain to investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Responsible in leading the team in implementing improvements for warehouse process, to include performance measurements designed to improve inventory efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of planned cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy across the supply chain.
  • Maintain weekly aisle count goals for the team to complete.
  • Ensure all assigned counts are completed within SLA from when they were populated.
  • Investigate cycle counts pending review and work with the appropriate teams to reach a resolution.
  • Monitor the allocations team slack channel and assist with any inventory request in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the completion of operational cycle counts including the creation of the finalized reports for the financial team.

  • Coaching and Developing Others — Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.
  • Making Decisions and Solving Problems — Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
  • Supervisory responsibilities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert when directing employees in completing their daily tasks, in relation to inventory and Supply Chain processes
  • May provide real time feedback to ensure consistency and compliance of receiving coordinators.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift 45 pounds
  • Spend time standing
  • Bending

Required education and experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Previous inventory related experience.
  • Experience working in a distribution center.

The Pay: Axon’s hourly pay philosophy is made up of base pay and bonus. The starting hourly pay for this role is USD 16.35 in the lowest geographic market and USD 22.12 in the highest geographic market. The actual hourly pay is dependent upon many factors such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
