Description of Task to be Performed:
· Interface with government customers and stakeholders to derive requirements for development.
· Develop web-based application modules according to customer defined parameters.
· Oversee and guide software deployments.
· Develop, perform testing and fixes in a local environment, to deploy and test in an intranet environment.
· Create stand-alone databases for use in a local environment using Oracle DDL scripts.
· Create tables, views and permissions, insert records to display sample data.
· Manage versions and deployments using Bitbucket
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or technical training in an Information Technology related field or web application systems development background/training with 8+ years of directly related experience.
- Experience performing data migrations.
- Proficient with front end technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Ajax, and JavaScript.
- Experience working with SQL databases like Oracle (19) and MS Access.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience working with Apache in a Linux environment.
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level II, training and certification requirements:
- Computing environment (CE) certification: CompTIA A+ ce, CompTIA Network+ ce, Microsoft Certified Professional, or the like.
- Information Assurance (IA) certification: CompTIA Security+ ce, GSEC, CCNA Security, or the like.
- Must have the ability to obtain Secret clearance, active Secret clearance preferred.
- Must be able to lift IT equipment of up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of PHP and Laravel.
- Familiarity with git version control tool and Bitbucket.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working with a team of developers and providing technical guidance.
- Experience leading team meetings and Agile Sprint meetings.
