We’re hiring Team Leads for our Finance, Hardware, and General tracks. Team Leads are responsible for day-to-day data delivery in each track. As a Data Team Lead at Contextual, you will:
- Plan, direct, and give feedback on the work of annotators and quality control specialists.
- Label and quality control data, where needed.
- Track work and progress against deadlines.
- Give feedback on and update instructions, and other supporting documentation.
- Communicate with the delivery manager, senior copyeditor, head of data, and other stakeholders.
- Work with vendors, planning work and giving them guidance and feedback.
- Identify opportunities to improve, standardize and streamline our processes.
- Support with onboarding new team members.
You might be a good fit if you are:
- Experienced in labelling data, with a solid understanding of how data is used in AI.
- Excellent at writing, proof-reading, and critical reasoning.
- Excited to work in a fast-paced environment and skilled at meeting tight deadlines.
- Good at solving problems and showing ownership.
- Good at planning.
- Detail-oriented.
Location: Remote. You must be available to work in the UK or EST timezones. This is a flexible hourly-paid contract.
