- Job Description:
- We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a focus on Master Data Management (MDM) to become a trusted advisor to the IT leadership teams. This role involves defining and executing MDM strategies in alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Key Responsibilities:
- MDM Strategy Development: Work closely with senior leadership (CDO/CIO/VP of IT) to define and develop MDM strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
- Consulting and Expertise: Guide clients on MDM concepts, industry best practices, methodologies, and emerging trends.
- Project Leadership: Lead MDM and data governance initiatives, managing consulting engagements related to data management and analytics projects.
- Solution Blueprinting: Perform assessments, gather requirements, and consolidate use cases to build a comprehensive MDM solution blueprint.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and data owners, to ensure effective communication, consensus building, and change management throughout MDM projects.
- Data Requirements & Documentation: Document business and functional requirements, including data models, mapping/cleansing protocols, matching hierarchies, and interfaces between MDM and other systems.
- Implementation & Delivery: Lead the implementation of at least two MDM solutions, ensuring the successful delivery of these projects.
- Technology Expertise: Provide hands-on experience with one or more MDM technologies such as Profisee, Semarchy, MS Purview, or Informatica. Propose tools and best practices for managing master data, ensuring quality and integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement MDM for downstream consumption.
- Data Quality & Governance: Ensure adherence to data governance standards, perform data quality checks, and enforce procedures to maintain data integrity across platforms.
- Leadership & Development: Demonstrate strong leadership and a positive attitude in driving organization-wide initiatives. Provide mentorship to the team, encouraging the development of skills and knowledge in MDM technologies and practices.
- Preferred:
- Certification in MDM technologies like Informatica, Profisee, Semarchy, MS Purview or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve data-related issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with multiple domains or cross-domain understanding is a plus.

- Good to have exposure to Azure Data ecosystem.
