We are currently seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team and work on high-impact projects for a client in the payments domain, focusing on Generative AI (GenAI) and recommender systems.
Position Overview: As a Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling recommender systems using GenAI algorithms for our payments client. You will collaborate closely with the client’s teams, leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance their product offerings and improve personalized customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement GenAI architectures tailored for the client’s recommender systems.
- Develop and scale recommender systems using state-of-the-art GenAI algorithms to enhance personalization and user engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams at the client’s organization to integrate GenAI models into existing systems and platforms.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and build predictive models for the client’s projects.
- Experiment with and fine-tune GenAI models to optimize performance for various use cases at the client’s organization.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in GenAI and recommender systems, applying this knowledge to develop innovative solutions for the client.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders at the client’s organization and collaborate effectively with their engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing GenAI models, with a strong understanding of GenAI architecture.
- Hands-on experience with building and scaling recommender systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and statistical methods.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience deploying AI models in production environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, especially with client stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with large-scale data processing technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
- Knowledge of MLOps practices, including model monitoring and continuous deployment.
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques as applied in GenAI models.
