Data Science is at the heart of Lyft’s products and decision-making. You will leverage data and rigorous, analytical thinking to shape our products and make business decisions. Livery refers to for-hire vehicles that are commercially licensed and insured and comes in many forms including: Black Car/Black SUVs, Limos, Taxis, and Buses/Shuttles. As a Data Scientist on the Livery team, you will collaborate with our world class team of engineers, product managers, and designers to accelerate our Lux Black market growth while formulating and driving forward strategies that best leverage the unique aspects of Livery driver supply. We’re looking for a passionate Data Scientist to take one of the most interesting and strategically important problems across Rideshare. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen, exceptional problem solving skills, and is comfortable working with a highly cross functional team.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $124,000-$155,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
