The primary function of the Data Scientist in this role is to lead and execute advanced data analysis automation and risk management projects, focusing on the integration and interpretation of large datasets including MAUDE (Manufacturer and User Facility Device Experience), internal complaint data, risk assessments, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) data.
Duration: Through the end of 2024 with possibility of extension
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- 8 + years of experience
- Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) on large, complex data sets
- Experience in pre-processing machine learning data pipelines for prediction, forecasting, and computer vision tasks.
- Advanced Experience in Visual Basic and / or Power BI
- Expertise in Azure SQL Database
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in data science, with a demonstrated focus on risk analysis, statistical modeling, and data automation
- Experience in data science for medical devices
- Experience with MAUDE database (ETL and analysis)
- Understanding of EUDAMED database
- Experience in applying data science techniques in Risk Management
- Some travel required
