Job Description:
Wellist is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Quality Controller to act as the "air traffic control" between our technology-driven data curation and the call center team that vets community resource listings. This key role is responsible for ensuring that the quality of data sent to the call center meets strict quality expectations. Additionally, the Data Quality Controller will project manage the directory build process to guarantee comprehensive coverage across all client zip codes. This includes generating reports to identify gaps and ensuring that the Director, Community Resource Directory has a clear work plan and efficient data pipeline to support the directory's development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison between the technology team and the call center to manage the data curation and vetting process.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of data sent to the call center for review.
- Project manage the directory build process, ensuring comprehensive coverage across client zip codes.
- Run regular reports to identify any data gaps or inconsistencies in the directory.
- Provide the Director, Community Resource Directory with a clear work plan and maintain an efficient data pipeline to support ongoing directory growth
- Provide the Data Scraping Team regular direction on network gaps and any recurring issues with the data to drive ongoing improvements
- Monitor data flow and quality metrics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of community resource information.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data vetting processes meet operational goals.
- Maintain and improve standard operating procedures for data curation and quality control.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data management, quality control, and operations, with a focus on maintaining high data accuracy.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to run reports, identify data trends, and present actionable insights.
- A self-starter with a passion for data and process improvement.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with call center data vetting processes or directory management.
- Familiarity with software tools related to data analytics and project management.
Location: Full-time, on-site in Boston, MA
