- Assist and guide the Product and R&D teams through all data-related topics during the development of new products and features
- Help to shape our AI and data analytics roadmap and its implementation
- Act as Compliance specialist and GDPR lead within the organization and serve as a primary contact for all Compliance-related questions and issues
- Understand the use of technology in building data protection practices into products and services (e.g. in code reviews)
- Understand how to implement data privacy regulations in day-to-day operations
- Assist with customer queries related to GDPR and privacy and optimize associated processes
- Create and maintain department-specific Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Consult the development teams to ensure privacy by design
- Manage and document the department-specific Record of Processing Activities (RoPA)
- Regulate the access rights to personal data and processes and ensure the deletion of personal data that is no longer required
- Develop Data Protection training for the department
- Collaborate closely and consult with our Legal team and our Data Protection Officer
- Ensure that processes are part of the department culture
- Affinity to IT systems, IT topics and R&D processes
- Experience and knowledge in the field of AI and data analytics
- Ideally system administrator or network architect skills
- Affinity to legal issues, in particular GDPR-topics
- Min. 3-5 years professional experience, ideally in the field of governance, risk and compliance
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical skills, team mentality and a structured way of working round off your qualifications
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory, further languages are a plus
