This role supports IFS Global Privacy Officer on managing and developing the IFS Global Privacy Program through effective deployment of data protection policies, best practices and tools that enable effective processes, great insights, as well as building efficiency in the privacy program. You will support the Global Privacy Officer to promote privacy and embed a culture of privacy compliance and communicate with key stakeholders to gain support and buy-in for privacy initiatives across the business.
The Data Privacy Manager is part of IFS Legal team and supports execution of IFS business goals through effective development, deployment and management of privacy policies, processes, best practices and tools that enable effective management of the Global Privacy Program at IFS. In this role you will be responsible for working closely with the Global Privacy Officer to manage and further develop the Privacy Program across IFS globally. This will involve manage change management, management of systems and tools as well as helping to design and implement business privacy related processes across the organization.
The main tasks include but are not limited to:
Supporting the Privacy Officer in developing and maintaining privacy controls and processes, both for the internal organization and in relation to customers and other third parties, as well as initiatives relating to privacy by design and AI functionality in product development.
Developing and managing data protection impact assessment process and templates (i.e. compliance gap analysis, DPIA/PIA, legitimate interest assessments, TIA), assisting the business in completing assessments, and providing support on ad hoc data protection matters.
Administrating and keeping the ROPA updated,
Review, refresh and maintain data protection policies updates, privacy statements and notices, procedures and guidance,
Supporting with the design and implementation of privacy controls,
Delivering privacy training and awareness activities, supporting incident response efforts, and monitoring project progress and milestones.,
Support the global privacy function with developing and maintaining robust and compliant data protection frameworks while driving change and fostering a privacy-focused culture within the organisation.
Review of privacy assessments from f third party suppliers, as well as responsibility for privacy tasks in vendor management system
Assisting with DSARs,
Dealing with day to day privacy enquiries from the business, including advice on projects to ensure privacy by design is incorporated into new products, systems and data processing activities.
Where privacy tools are utilised, assist to implement, manage and maintain such privacy management tools
Keep up to date with changing privacy laws globally in IFS key markets and use this to adapt the privacy program to new demands.
Business Partnering
Act as trusted business advisor to legal operations management by translating data into insights
Drive cross functional initiatives in cooperation with other global functions

Required Education & Experience
Essential:
Privacy manager with at least 5+ years’ experience of privacy and data protection in the IT industry including internationally (EU essential), whether in a legal or industry sector context
Relevant legal qualifications and experience and/or CIPP/E (or equivalent) qualification
Team player who is focused building collaborative relationships with other control functions and business teams
Keenness to develop their knowledge in the ever-changing world of data protection, data management, AI and regulatory frameworks
Experience of working on complex change management initiatives across a geographically distributed organization, in an international organization with a virtual working environment.
Professional fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
