We’re seeking a Data Privacy Associate to assist in the maintenance of potentially sensitive information, preparation of contracts, and assist in carrying out data protection assessments.
What you'll be doing?
- Organizing and maintaining data protection records and other related documents on the global level.
- Assist with the preparation of contracts with business partners and other legal documents (for example internal policies) in the field of data protection.
- Carrying out data protection impact assessments (DPIA) together with the team.
- Assist other employees in advising, coordinating, and managing data protection issues.
- Collaborating in carrying out internal audits at the level of Aleph Group in the field of data protection.
- Help preparation of reports and presentations (including educational materials) regarding data protection related topics.
- Participate in data protection legal projects.
- Promote and spreading a culture of importance of compliance with data protection in Aleph Group.
- Other Ad hoc Legal related tasks.
Who you are?
- Educational degree in Law.
- Two or more years of experience in data privacy and compliance with focus on GDPR.
- Expertise in data privacy laws and practices, including deep understanding of GDPR.
- Proficient English communication: written and verbal is a must.
- A tech savvy person that's ready to learn different software/tools.
- Knowledge of LATAM, APAC, or MEA data privacy laws would be good to have but not a must.
- Experience in a global or regional setting with a focus on Europe
