Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions, building and maintaining data systems and pipelines, and ensuring the performance and security of our data architecture. You will collaborate closely with our technology teams, data scientists, and analysts to optimize data delivery and enhance business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimize data solutions to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure products perform effectively in production and follow internal testing practices.
  • Stay updated with industry standards and apply new knowledge to improve our systems.
  • Develop and promote best practices for data management.
  • Monitor and support data services, addressing incidents and proposing improvements.
  • Train and mentor colleagues on data tools and best practices.
  • Create documentation to meet business and compliance needs.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL) programming and data processing tools (ADF, SSIS).
  • Experience with data storage systems (RDBMS, NoSQL) and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Services and CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps).
  • Advanced programming skills and experience with infrastructure as code (ARM Templates, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and business intelligence tools (SSRS, PowerBI, Tableau).
