As a Data Operations Associate, your role will focus on two major elements - 

  1. Inputting data from various sources into the company computer system for processing and management. You will need to efficiently manage a large amount of information that is often sensitive or confidential. 
  2. Data annotation or data labeling: This is the process of labeling individual elements of training data (whether text, video, or images) to help machines understand what exactly is in that data. This annotated data is then applied during model training.

Data annotation also plays a part in the larger quality control process of data collection, as well-annotated datasets become ground truth datasets: data that is held up as a gold standard and used to measure the quality of other datasets.

Responsibilities

  • Helps in creating ground truth for the input documents
  • Creation of  golden data set for the input documents based on the use case requirements
  • Prepares and analyses data. This can include locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, validating, or modeling.
  • Applies query, data exploration and transformation, basic statistical methods, and visualization techniques to build business insights or improve data quality.
  • Performs validation and testing to confirm the accuracy of the information built.
  • Interprets results of analyses, identifies trends and issues, and develops recommendations to support business objectives.
  • Think strategically about data as a core enterprise asset and assist in all phases of the advanced analytic development process
  • Work with Solution engineers to supervise and help institutionalize models and dashboards for Analytics
  • Support other tasks as assigned (dashboard, reporting, governance of data using audits to identify gaps and opportunities)

Qualification we seek in you!

  • Graduate or equivalent
  • Analytical aptitude - problem-solving, quantitative
  • Analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
  • Should have the ability to handle large data sets in arriving at meaningful findings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment without compromising the quality
  • Fluent communication skills: You will be expected to work with our global team across geographies (US / EMEA)
