Data Modernization and Change Management Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Modernization and Change Management Program Manager for a 2-year contract in Denver, CO.  This role will assist in refreshing the tech stack, transforming data infrastructure, and driving organizational change.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and implementation of data modernization initiatives, while also managing the associated change management processes to ensure successful adoption across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data modernization strategy aligned with the organization's objectives and priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to assess current data infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and develop plans for modernization.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, data architects, and other stakeholders to design and implement scalable and efficient data solutions.
  • Define and implement change management processes to facilitate the adoption of new data technologies and practices across the organization.
  • Develop communication plans and training materials to support change initiatives and ensure stakeholder buy-in and engagement.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of data modernization efforts and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading data modernization initiatives in a large organization
  • Program Management experience
  • Stakeholder Management experience
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, practices, and technologies, including data integration, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Experience managing change management processes and driving organizational change initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

     

This will be a 2-year contract with a preference for a hybrid schedule in the Denver Tech Center area.
