Data Migration Internship – Summer 2025

At fme Romania, we have great plans for you this summer! This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in data migration, focusing on modern ECM (Enterprise Content Management) platforms and databases such as Oracle and SQL.

What you will learn & do

• Learn about how to migrate data between ECM Platforms.
• Gain a basic understanding of relational databases like Oracle, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Learn the fundamentals of Cloud technology and its role in data migration.
• Learn how to develop data transformation rules and scripts.
• Attend relevant technical courses to deepen your expertise in the technologies used in this field.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment to solve real-world data migration challenges.
• By the end of the internship, you will have a comprehensive understanding of data migration processes and will be able to apply your knowledge to real-world projects.

What you will gain

Requirements

We are looking for enthusiastic students or fresh graduates who

• Have basic knowledge of SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Have a basic understanding of Cloud technologies.
• Are passionate about technology and eager to learn.
• Have good English language skills.
• Are available to work 4 hours per day, from July to October 2025.
  

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of REST APIs. Basic knowledge of data modeling.
