Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer for a project-based role focused on migrating current Informatica processes to SQL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Informatica Power Center and/or Informatica Cloud, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. 

Requirements

• Analyze and understand existing Informatica workflows and mappings to identify the general data flow. 
• Convert Informatica workflows and mappings into a series of SQL statements to achieve the same output. 
• Utilize Redshift SQL to ensure seamless data integration and transformation. 
• Identify and implement Informatica transformations and correlate them with SQL functions. 
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions on time. 

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with Informatica Power Center and/or Informatica Cloud. 
• Strong understanding of Informatica transformations and their correlation to SQL functions. 
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL, with a preference for Redshift SQL. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and manage project deliverables. 
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions. 
• Familiarity with other ETL tools and technologies. 
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
