- Build large-scale data pipelines and data entities, essential to efficient decision making
- Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to improve data accessibility
- Participate in data quality assurance and validation processes
- Assist in optimizing database performance and structure
- Help document data architectures and processes
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Applied Science or a related field
- Proficient in SQL and one of the programming languages
- Familiar with Python data processing frameworks
- Understanding of Data Architecture and Data lake/warehouse concepts
- Familiar with data modeling
- Familiar with Data ETL pipelines and orchestration
- Interest in learning about how Data Engineering and Data Science can accelerate the development of the autonomy stack
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Kafka)
- Familiar with Scala
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Looker)
- Understanding of machine learning concepts
- Previous internship or project experience in data-related fields
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
