Location: Bangalore, India (*must work from Bangalore office- no relocation assistance provided)

Department: Engineering

Experience Level: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, and automation.

Education: BE, BTech, ME, MTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar

Mandatory Skills: 

• SQL Expertise: Strong command of SQL with significant experience using PostgreSQL.
• Python Proficiency: Skilled in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and automation.
• BI Tools Experience: Hands-on experience with BI tools (preferably DOMO) for dashboard creation and report generation.
• Data Visualization & AI: Proficient in using tools like AWS Sagemaker, Jupyter Notebooks, and other tools for AI experimentation, data visualization, data cleaning, and data analysis.
• Business Acumen: Strong ability to translate data insights into business opportunities and understand market dynamics.
• Communication Skills: Skilled in verbal and written skills to effectively convey insights to stakeholders and team members.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex data sets in a structured manner.

Optional Skills: 

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, DataBricks, etc.)
• Knowledge of other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Management: Utilize PostgreSQL to manage and analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Coding, Scripting & Automation: Write and maintain Python scripts to automate data processes and integrate systems, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Business Intelligence: Work within our BI platform, DOMO, to create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business decisions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly interact with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Product Development Support: Assist in product development cycles, focusing on leveraging data insights to enhance product offerings.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on project goals and outcomes.
