We are seeking a Data Engineer with a robust proficiency in SAS and a comprehensive background in data engineering. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in SQL, Python, ETL processes, and data warehousing. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising data pipelines and architectures. The candidate should have experience in handling large datasets, ensuring data quality, and implementing data integration solutions. Familiarity with data modelling and a keen understanding of data governance practices are also essential. Additionally, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is crucial.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Implement and manage data warehousing solutions.
  • Utilize SAS for data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across all platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3- 4  years of experience in data visualization.
  • Proven track record of working with Power BI, Azure Databricks, SQL, Python, and Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

You must be

  • Willing to work on client sites, potentially for extended periods.
  • Willing to travel for work purposes and be happy to stay away from home for extended periods.
  • Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
