Job Overview:
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and leading data-related projects to build a strong data solution globally. Working closely with the engineering and marketing team, you will be an integral part as the G123 platform grows its portfolio of games and expands globally. The role’s responsibilities include:
- Developing & maintaining data pipelines written with Spark and Flink
- Developing & maintaining self services
- Leading projects
- Take part in system design
- Consider coding standards and ensure compliance with quality measures
- Communicate and resolve problems within and outside your team
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience with production level development
- Proficiency in: Scala, Java, JDK
- Experience in Spark
- Experience in MVC frameworks e.g. Spring Boot
- Experience in middlewares e.g. Apache kafka, Redis
- Experience in DevOps activities
- Experience building and debugging complex systems in a team environment
- Familiarity with AWS, Gitlhub, CICD
- Self-motivated
- Good communication, teamwork, inter-team collaboration
- Be an active player in system architecture and design discussions
- Adaptable to fast-paced startup environment
Language Requirements
- Can work in Chinese OR Japanese OR English
- Can read and understand technical documents in English
