As a Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing data solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Your responsibilities will include creating and maintaining data pipelines, data storage solutions, data processing, and data integration. By enabling data-driven decision-making within the company, you’ll contribute to our clients’ success.
Part of your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure Data services.
- Analyze source data to identify and evaluate business use cases
- Liaise with stakeholders to design innovative solutions that meet business and technical requirements
- Design, develop, and implement data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, and other related technologies.
- Create and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring data is cleansed, mapped, transformed, and optimized for storage and use
- Optimize ETL pipelines to ensure maximum performance and data integrity
- Ensure data migration to new environments
- Design and implement resilient and secure data systems (data warehouse, data lake, real-time systems) and robust security policies to protect sensitive data
- Ensure ongoing maintenance and optimization of existing data systems
- Work closely with the development team to integrate data solutions seamlessly into client applications
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring satisfaction and successful outcomes
- Actively participate in the identification and implementation of new emerging technologies in the data domain
We're on the lookout for someone with:
- Experience in Microsoft BI (Business Intelligence) stack including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS, Power BI, Data Warehouse, SQL Database
- Azure Data Services: Hands-on experience with key Azure data services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Cosmos DB. Experience in implementing real-time and batch data processing solutions with Azure Stream Analytics and Azure Data Factory
- Know-how to implement solutions to collect, model and restore data by supporting our customers in carrying out precise analysis using reports/dashboards
- Software Development: ability to create customized solutions to meet specific customer needs.
- Big Data and Analytics (nice to have): experience with Big Data technologies, including Apache Spark, Hadoop and Kafka architecture. Ability to design and implement scalable analytical solutions to process massive volumes of data.
- Security and Compliance: understanding of data security and compliance principles, with ideally the ability to implement identity and access management (IAM) strategies as well as data privacy policies.
- Experience with Data Governance is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality solutions
