About the Day to Day Responsibilities of the Role

• Investigate and perform complex analyses on disparate datasets using data profiling techniques, establish and advocate the best practices to maintain data consistency, completeness, accuracy, and standardization.
• Implement data mapping across various insurance datasets using python code, while ensuring the data quality using automated data validation checks.
• Design and automate the scalable data pipelines for smooth ingestion, transformation, and dissemination of data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams equally effectively, to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
• Work in a dynamic, research-oriented team and collaborate with business, product management and application development teams.

About You and How You Can Excel in this Role

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or relevant fields with 4-5 years of experience or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or relevant fields with 3-4 years of experience 
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience with Python, SQL, data modeling and data engineering experience required
• Knowledge of or experience with NoSQL DBs, ETL, visualization tools such as Tableau, data dictionaries, metadata repositories, AWS (or similar cloud platform), data cataloging, data lineage, GenAI is desirable.
• Experience with Insurance business domain is a plus.
• Problem-solving and result-oriented, analytical, organized, and proactive with attention to details.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
