Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled data engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. They will also have experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure and systems
- Develop and implement ETL processes
- Design and implement data models
- Build and maintain data pipelines
- Monitor and optimize data systems performance
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to ensure data accuracy and quality
- Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design
- Experience with ETL tools
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
- Experience with cloud platforms is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
