We are seeking a Data Engineer for a 6-12 month+ contract (with strong ability to extend and or go full time) in Englewood, CO. This role will be onsite in the south Denver office from day 1. This role will be responsible for writing complex SQL and PL/SQL (70-80% of the role will consist of this) and writing shell scripts (10-15% of the role will consist of this).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering data solutions on a variety of data warehousing, big data and cloud data platforms.
- 3+ years of experience working with Data Warehouse environments
- Experience in writing complex SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience in writing shell scripts
- Experience with building data ingestion pipelines both real time and batch using best practices
- Experience with Cloud Computing platforms like Amazon AWS, Google Cloud etc.
- Experience working on Redshift/Snowflake is a nice to have
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
This long term contract (with option to hire) will be located in Englewood, CO.
