Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer & Analyst proficient in Snowflake and Tableau to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. Your expertise in managing large datasets and transforming data into actionable insights will be crucial in driving business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and reliable ETL processes using Snowflake, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and optimize data models and schemas in Snowflake for efficient querying and storage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize performance of data pipelines and Tableau dashboards.
  • Implement best practices in data governance, security, and privacy.
  • Document data processes, data flows, and data dictionaries for reference and reproducibility.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and analytics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Analyst with a focus on Snowflake and Tableau.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning in Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in designing and developing ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Experience in data modeling, schema design, and optimization in Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau for creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Understanding of data governance, data security, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Snowflake and Tableau.
  • Experience with other BI tools or programming languages (Python, R, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
