Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee third-party vendors managing data center operations, including servers, storage, networking, and power systems.
- Resource Allocation: Guide vendors on resource allocation, capacity planning, and scalability to meet business needs; implement industry best practices aligned with company policies.
- Server Deployment & Configuration: Supervise vendors in server deployments, hardware upgrades, and software installations, ensuring performance, security, and compliance standards are met.
- Network Management: Oversee vendors in configuring and maintaining network equipment, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting issues.
- Cloud & Disaster Recovery: Manage cloud infrastructure deployments and ensure effective disaster recovery and contingency plans.
- Team Oversight: Supervise data center technicians and enforce operational procedures managed by third-party operators.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to support business continuity and align infrastructure with business goals.
Requirements:
- Experience: Background in ICT, cybersecurity audit, compliance, and regulatory discussions.
- Professional Certifications: Security+, CCNA, CCNP, or NSE4A.
- Leadership Skills: Team player with a focus on continuous improvement and talent development.
- Project Management: Strong commitment to quality, accountability, and ethical practices in project and change management.
- Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in data center operations.
- Proven expertise in end-to-end data center management.
- Experience overseeing third-party vendors in managing storage systems, provisioning resources, and configuring storage arrays.
- Skilled in implementing data replication and backup solutions.
