Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee third-party vendors managing data center operations, including servers, storage, networking, and power systems.
  • Resource Allocation: Guide vendors on resource allocation, capacity planning, and scalability to meet business needs; implement industry best practices aligned with company policies.
  • Server Deployment & Configuration: Supervise vendors in server deployments, hardware upgrades, and software installations, ensuring performance, security, and compliance standards are met.
  • Network Management: Oversee vendors in configuring and maintaining network equipment, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting issues.
  • Cloud & Disaster Recovery: Manage cloud infrastructure deployments and ensure effective disaster recovery and contingency plans.
  • Team Oversight: Supervise data center technicians and enforce operational procedures managed by third-party operators.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to support business continuity and align infrastructure with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Background in ICT, cybersecurity audit, compliance, and regulatory discussions.
  • Professional Certifications: Security+, CCNA, CCNP, or NSE4A.
  • Leadership Skills: Team player with a focus on continuous improvement and talent development.
  • Project Management: Strong commitment to quality, accountability, and ethical practices in project and change management.
  • Languages: Fluent in Arabic and English.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in data center operations.
    • Proven expertise in end-to-end data center management.
    • Experience overseeing third-party vendors in managing storage systems, provisioning resources, and configuring storage arrays.
    • Skilled in implementing data replication and backup solutions.
