Arabic Computer Systems, a leading ICT Company in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Data Availability Officer to join their team. The company has been in business for over 35 years, ACS provides services to government entities, some of the Middle East’s leading companies and is growing its enterprise customers through business development. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability of data to support company operations, with strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and communication.
Responsibilities
- Ensure data availability for key company operations by monitoring system performance and analyzing data quality.
- Collaborate with information technology teams to assess, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues.
- Develop and maintain data management policies and procedures in coordination with relevant departments.
- Provide regular data reports and updates to management and other stakeholders.
- Participate in data governance committees and oversee the implementation of data governance policies.
- Utilize data to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to management.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data management techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data availability
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with data governance policies and best practices.
