Inter IKEA Group is hiring a

Data & Analytics Manager - IKEA Components

Älmhult, Sweden
Full-Time

At IKEA, we do things a little different. We think differently, act differently, and work differently as well. We like to break conventions and make inventions. And then make things. Like music-playing lamps. And beds disguised as sofas. Even furniture that you can simply assemble with a “klick”. It’s all part of our vision - to create a better everyday life for the many. And it has been keeping our co-workers going for over 80 years. By 2030, we hope to help millions more look forward to going home.

Are you a leader who is motivated by supporting people’s growth? Do you have a passion for Business Intelligence and Analytics? Would you like to drive change in how we work with our data as a key asset? Do you have a drive to understand business needs and partner up to find solutions?

Then you might be our new Data & Analytics Manager!

From a data and technology perspective we see that we need to take steps into a modern context where data can be stored and used in a way that seamlessly, accurately and in near real time supports the business needs. This is a transformation where we team up with others in IKEA and we believe it will be very inspiring and give a lot of learnings for you as a leader.

You will report to the Process & Digital Manager and be direct manager for a team of around 10 people working with Business Intelligence and Business Performance Analytics. Together with the team you will lead and develop IKEA Components’ data and analytics agenda, operationally as well as strategically.

The task is both challenging and inspiring and requires a deep understanding of how to work with data and technology. You need to navigate in a complex ecosystem of digital solutions that produces our data and then together with the team ensure that the data can be collected, cleaned, and structured for analysis in modern technology platforms. Turning data into information and setting the scene for fact-based decision making in all parts of our business.

It is key that you enjoy building strong networks but also to support and challenge the team in finding new ways and expanding their competence.

We are offering you the following assignment:

-    Lead the full transformation of data into information and insights, meaning responsibility for delivering accurate reports and KPIs in our business intelligence platform as well as insights and analysis results to your business partners.

-    Lead the transformation of how we store and make our data available in a context with mutual dependencies with other parts of the IKEA value chain. Working closely with colleagues across – always with the IKEA business benefit in the center.

-    Together with CFO lead the Business Steering matrix in IKEA Components and set the strategic plan for the coming years

-    Build networks and work closely with leaders and other stakeholders to give the prerequisites to develop the business

At IKEA Components it is important for us that you grow and develop. You get to work with a wide scope on a global level and at the same time you will belong to an organization where we see you, believe in your abilities, and give you the right tools to shine. We are proud of our great people and our prestige-less environment, and we see that together we can really make a difference.

To succeed and shine in this role we also see that you:

- have solid experience in leading and developing a diverse team with specialists from different areas. You understand the needs of your business partners and can translate them into concrete solutions having the capacity and capabilities of your team in mind.

- have passion for business intelligence and a very good understanding of how data, information and business activities are related. Being very familiar with the customary solutions and concepts around BI and advanced analytics is key.

We look forward to receiving your application. Please upload your CV and include your responses to the following two questions – in English, no later than September 17th  2024. Be sure to keep your answers short and concise:
