In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Collect business requirement and develop advanced data mining solutions or identify, assess and deploy relevant existing data mining, machine learning and business intelligence solutions; in detail:
- To analyse user needs and requirements
- To identify and propose alternative implementations to support user requirements
- To architect a final system solution
- To contribute to the implementation of the identified architecture.
- To devise quality, security and architectural plans and assist in their implementation
- Develop specifications and design of presentation interfaces with optimal usability/user experience; follow up with their implementation;
- Identify, collect, convert and update different data types/sets in several locations;
- Produces data models according to specific problems statements;
- Scripting and programming;
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the analytics architecture and its solution stack (including performance aspects, physical design, capacity dimensions etc…)
- Write the different documentation associated with the tasks and liaise with other project teams as necessary to address cross-project interdependencies.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- Master Degree+7 years of relevant experience
- At least 3 years of specific expertise in R or other platforms for statistical computing and data visualisation
- At least 2 years of specific expertise in scripting languages Python, Javascript
- At least 2 years of specific expertise in relational or non-relational database architecture and SQL query development
- Excellent knowledge of Data Analytics techniques and tools, including the underpinning mathematical concepts; a basic knowledge of multivariate data analysis and principal component analysis is also desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
- Knowledge in one of the following areas is desirable: predictive (forecasting, recommendation), prescriptive (simulation), sentiment analysis, topic detection, social media crawling and processing, trends/anomalies detection in datasets, recommendation systems
- Knowledge and experience with platforms for statistical computing (e.g. R, SAS, SPSS, STATA)
- Good knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g. SAP, Business Objects, Tableau)
- Knowledge of Extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes and tools (e.g. Talend Open Studio)
- Good knowledge of relational and non-relational (NoSQL) Database Architectures and SQL tooling (e.g. NoSQL DB, MongoDB, Hadoop, MySQL, Postgres SQL, MS SQL Server)
- Knowledge of architectural design and implementation of scalable modern data stores(including Elasticsearch).
- Knowledge of Web Application Architectures, including Frontend Technologies (e.g. JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and APIs for sync/async communication) and Backend Technologies (e.g. Python, .Net/C#, Node.js/Express.js, Spring Boot/Java)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript).
- Knowledge of Unix
- Experience in continuous code delivery and unit testing, including containerization and orchestration platforms (DevOps methods such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, using e.g. GitLab and OpenShift)
- Ability to understand, speak and write English (B2)
