As the Seeds Data Analyst at Syngenta Flowers, you will play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain data and inventory management. This position involves analyzing inventory levels, goods movement, and capturing data to enhance logistics performance. You will foster collaboration with teams across multiple locations to contribute to a responsive supply chain data management system that prioritizes seed requirements in each market. Key responsibilities include data analysis, stock monitoring, transportation optimization, stakeholder collaboration, identifying process improvements, and ensuring accurate seed reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Analyze inventory data to ensure compliance with Syngenta's inventory policies, from seed reception to shipping to destination.
- Monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and provide insights to minimize shortages or overages.
- Conduct regular stock assessments, reconcile with system records, and collaborate closely with the Controlling team.
Logistics Coordination
- Analyze transportation and distribution data to optimize logistics processes and ensure timely delivery of products (Seed Products, Tissue Culture Materials, etc.).
- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to streamline logistics processes between GT and stakeholders (other sites, hubs, etc.).
- Utilize data analysis to optimize freight costs while maintaining high service levels.
- Analyze data related to import and export procedures (taxes, 29-89 decree, bonds, etc.) and align with the Finance team.
Order Fulfillment
- Analyze order processing data, from receipt to dispatch, to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Work closely with supply planning and production teams, utilizing data analysis to forecast demand and align inventory levels accordingly.
- Ensure accurate and timely weekly reporting of actual seed results, recording data into the system for stakeholders (Production, NPI's, Management, etc.).
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, including supply chain management systems, transportation databases, and warehouse records.
- Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable insights and visualizations for logistics operations.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in logistics, supply chain, Agricultural or a related industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Intermediate English Proficiency.
