We are looking for an experienced SQL Reporting Specialist to join our dynamic and fast-paced Paymode Revenue Operations team. This role focuses on delivering accurate, actionable data reports and analyses that empower various business units across the organization. The ideal candidate is a SQL expert with a deep understanding of data analysis, data standardization and aggregation, and ETL pipelines and is comfortable creating and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries for data extraction and reporting. 

• Provide one-off data reporting pulls for ad-hoc analysis and source system data  

• Conduct regular variance analysis between source systems and reporting layers. 

• Maintain and optimize Denodo server queries and diagnose timeout errors, working with data engineering teams to mitigate risk and optimize performance. 

• Support report and KPI refreshes on both regular and ad-hoc cadences 

• Collaborate with various departments (Salesforce, IT) to update and manage business-critical data across systems including Salesforce, Paymode, and our custom internal CRM, ROC.  

Qualifications: 

• 4+ years Proven experience in SQL development and data reporting, ideally within a financial or technical environment. 

• Strong understanding of SQL performance optimization techniques. 

• Experience with Salesforce data management is a plus. 

• Experience building standardized data views and ETL pipelines for Power BI consumption 

• Experience with Denodo or other data virtualization tools is a plus. 

• Ability to manage security protocols within Power BI, including row-level security and permissions. 

• Experience with Oracle and Postgres is a plus. 

• Ability to create and maintain clear, concise, and accurate technical and functional documentation 

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose server errors and timeout issues. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams. 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, including ad-hoc projects.
