Job Overview

PES is seeking a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will report to the Head of Operations PES. The position is responsible for running various analytical projects/reports on an ad-hoc/continuous basis and support establishment/growth of key verticals of Pretium Enterprise Services (PES).

The preferred location for this opportunity is Charlotte, NC.

What You’ll Do

Roles & Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Processing

  • Collect and consolidate data from various sources
  • Cleansing and organizing raw data to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Developing and maintaining databases, data systems and dashboards

Data Analysis

  • Analyze large datasets using statistical methods and tools
  • Identify trends and insights as well as actionable opportunities with potential impact to support decision making
  • Develop what if scenario modeling to utilize for various analysis
  • Identify and implement sources for effective benchmarking and market intel to incorporate into analysis

Data Visualization

  • Create visualizations, charts, and reports to communicate findings
  • Use tools such as Power BI to present data in a clear and understandable fashion
  • Work with the global teams to assess best practice and a standard operating methodology

Reporting

  • Generate ongoing and ad-hoc reports for management/stakeholders
  • Develop easily repeatable reporting templates for continuous reporting
  • Provide insights and recommendations
  • Identify and implement efficiency opportunities to include automating current manual reporting.
  • Work with Senior Stakeholders to establish best in class automated reporting supporting the establishment of a governance framework for organizational goals

Statistical Analysis

  • Apply statistical methods to analyze and interpret data
  • Conduct hypothesis testing and regression testing when appropriate

Database Management

  • Manage and maintaining databases, ensuring data integrity and security
  • Identify and implement new/additional sources of data to drive efficiencies, greater insights, and accuracies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • At least four years of work experience in an analytics and reporting role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI or others
  • Familiarity with database managements systems and data warehousing concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of data analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 is required, except where prohibited pursuant to state or local law.
