We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Apprentice Data Analyst to join the Operational Performance Team.
As part of the Operational Performance team, you will work with data analysts, data scientists, product managers and user researchers to improve performance and decision-making across content and royalties topics.
Data analysts at Deezer have a key role to elevate data culture and to make sure any strategic decision is based on the right data-driven insights :
They identify problems and implement solutions based on data that will fuel Deezer’s growth
They shape data-informed product and business strategies
They communicate results and influence key business and product leaders
They keep an open and growth mindset in order to continuously develop new methodologies, analytical skills and business acumen
What you will do:
Ensure fairer redistribution of royalties to artists by conducting analyses to identify and block fake streams and fraudulent activity
Play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of the Deezer catalog by analyzing user interactions and assessing content distribution strategies of providers and labels, ensuring a high-quality experience for our users.
Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to understand their vision and challenges
Conduct data-driven and product-oriented analyses to build product and business recommendations that help stakeholders take the right decisions
Build your own data pipelines: from the logs to the final dataset using Python, SQL, Spark
Design, build and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to make product usage data accessible, and easily understandable
This role is excellent for a person with:
At least one experience in a similar or other relevant position involving solving complex problems
Proficient in SQL
Data Visualization skills (e.g. Tableau or DataStudio)
You are able to present results to non-technical audiences
Fluent in English
Hunger for learning
