This person will need to work out of our Portsmouth, NH office one day per week.

The Role

Bottomline is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to innovate, win, and grow on the Paymode Revenue Realization team, which is a collaborative, exciting, fast-paced group. As a Data Analyst you will leverage your business, analytical, and technical skills to build efficient, effective, and scalable processes, dashboards, insights, and analytics to drive the success of our Paymode Managers, Vendor Sales, finance, and leadership teams. You will be accountable for managing analytics and toolkit development for strategic programs across Payer and Vendor Account Management, as well as key growth initiatives.

How you'll contribute:

  • Build and manage analytical tools, primarily in Power BI, for tracking for operational management of our payments and spend flows across 600+ payers and 20,000+ vendors.
  • Design analytics playbooks, processes, and enablement materials to increase Account Management and Vendor Sales effectiveness in executing operational activities that ultimately drive client health and growth.
  • Collaborate with Product, Operations, Vendor Enrollment and other internal groups to outline requirements and workflows leading to execution to resolve process, resource, and functional bottlenecks within Paymode.
  • Build, manage, and optimize internal-facing deliverables such as training materials, standard operating procedures and how-to documents
  • Own, maintain, support and update critical Power BI dashboards and their associated documentation. Work closely with all levels of users to update reports, fix technical issues and write documentation.
  • Establish, document, and track new Power BI toolkits enabling leadership to effectively manage their team towards achievement of an initiatives’ goals
  • Proactively identify client and portfolio-level analytics that will help the Account Management team be more efficient, knowledgeable, and proactive in executing their goals with their clients
  • Support leadership reporting on key Operational Analytics on Paymode performance and progress
  • Proactively identify client and portfolio-level revenue analytics that will help the Account Management team be more efficient in executing their goals with their clients
  • Collaborate with FP&A and the CRO function to establish root-cause analysis on revenue performance and deliver insights towards monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles.

What will make you Successful

  • Highly analytical with the ability to turn insight into action with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving via critical thinking
  • Self-motivated and strong willingness to learn within a fast-paced cross-functional leadership team.
  • Experience with Power BI a plus, including the ability to combine data from multiple sources with SQL or Power Query for analysis, reporting and visualizations on large data sets.
  • Experience in translating existing SQL queries into business logic and maintaining dashboards utilizing SQL, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Use Power BI to create user friendly UI’s for client facing reports, internal reporting, and storytelling for analysis.
  • Strong experience with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, evolving environment, taking high-level requests and translating them into actionable tasks
  • Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
  • Highly organized with an ability to work across different tasks and activities
  • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment, taking on a variety of tasks and activities
  • Able to work cross functionally with multiple departments, communicate effectively to multiple levels of the company, and lead training and presentations.
