About the Role
Are you a skilled programmer with a passion for data analytics and process optimisation? Join our Analytics team as a Data Analyst and Programmer, where you’ll play a vital role in improving the Forecast Model process that powers our Passport platform. This role is perfect for someone eager to refine internal processes and collaborate on consulting projects with world-renowned clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Developing new code and improving existing codebases for data transformations, statistical computations, and process automation.
- Collaborating in peer reviews to identify and implement the best analytical solutions.
- Contributing to consulting projects, crafting bespoke solutions aligned with client objectives.
- Staying at the forefront of advancements in programming, cloud computing, and analytics tools.
- Documenting projects comprehensively and sharing best practices within the team.
How You’ll Be Doing It:
- Utilising Python, R, and SQL to automate complex data analysis tasks.
- Applying knowledge of data flows, ETLs, and pipelines to optimise processes.
- Working with cloud platforms (Azure, GCS) to support scalable, cutting-edge solutions.
- Ensuring code quality with test-driven development, linting, and thorough documentation.
- Leveraging your expertise in econometrics, statistics, and data science to deliver impactful results.
Skills needed:
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL for data transformation, statistical analysis, and automation.
- Solid experience with ETL processes and data pipeline optimisation.
- University degree in Mathematics, statics or similar.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Services (GCS).
Salary:
€27,000–€33,000 annually (€2250 - €2750 monthly), dependent on experience.
