Job Description
AI & Data are transforming the way Visa works and amplifying our value proposition to clients and partners around the globe. The pace of change has been unprecedented, driving continuous upskilling as a critical strategy. The Data & AI Delivery Training Manager is a member of Visa University’s Global Learning Experience Delivery team, responsible for the efficient and effective facilitation of Visa University’s evolving 3E (Experience, Exposure and Education) model to build emerging AI & Data capabilities and performance for Visa employees.
In this role, you will use your deep technical expertise and proven quick study skills in AI & Data-related capabilities, from ethical and responsible data use (including cleaning, prep, etc.) to both existing and emerging functional data & AI skills including Python frameworks, Kafka, building and connecting models, etc. You will combine that knowledge with your experience facilitating highly interactive and engaging formal and informal skill building on high priority emerging AI & Data-related skills. Your experiences will span technical onboarding, hands on coding labs, scenario-based immersion and community-based learning experiences, both inside and outside traditional in-room & virtual learning environments.
Your learners will span the entire range of technical experience in the employee population, including deep technical employees like software developers, data engineers, data scientists & analysts, cybersecurity engineers, etc.
You will also apply your demonstrated effectiveness in delivering engaging and memorable learner experience to coaching subject experts into becoming effective scaled peer learning facilitators across the globe. The role grows together with emerging Visa technologies.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical area like EE or CS. The focus of your work has been in upskilling, working with technology teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 7+ or more years, of work experience with an Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree is preferred in the area of: CS, EE, Data Science, etc.
• Progressive experience delivering technical training to software developers, data scientists & engineering, cybersecurity and similar technical learners.
• Strong business acumen.
• A passion for teaching, facilitation and providing awesome learning experiences.
• The ability to learn new skills quickly.
• The ability to facilitate formal and informal learning programs using single channel or blended approaches, including virtual and classroom-based instructor-led training (ILT), peer-to-peer learning, on-the-job learning, digital cohorts, community-based, etc.
• The ability to comprehend and translate complex technical concepts into terms that are easy to understand in an influential and persuasive manner.
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and consulting skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and an agile organization with rapidly changing requirements and content.
• Comfortable collaborating in a diverse global environment. Self-motivated and resourceful with well-developed listening skills needed to work with diverse teams.
