Now is the right time to accelerate our growth in the region, as a result we are making this hire and opening a local office.

The Role

We are looking for a sales person with proven experience in the travel sector. You will be the first person on the ground in DACH. You will be responsible for driving the future success of our DACH business.  

Our Sales team are responsible for maintaining and growing our market leading position, selling our solutions to independent hotels and hotel groups. You’ll be managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close. You’ll be based in DACH with regular training and collaboration provided from our London HQ. Travel will be required to connect with customers across the DACH region.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Selling the full Triptease solution. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through negotiations to close and transitioning clients to the customer success team supported by the wider DACH team and VP of Sales, EMEA.
  • We care deeply about our customers and are committed to providing them with the best service and experience. We’re looking for someone who can understand customer needs, build trust and create lasting relationships
  • Conduct market territory and market-specific research and become a trusted resource for your prospects and colleagues
  • Provide accurate forecasts to the Triptease Senior Sales team
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders including Marketing, Customer Success and our Product Teams to develop our go-to market strategy and maximise brand impact
  • Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Continuously demonstrate a hunter sales mentality
  • Transform DACH into our most important growth region

Experience

  • 5+ years experience in a customer-facing sales relevant role
  • Experience in travel/hotel tech or marketing tech is essential
  • Fluent English and German (French is a bonus)
  • You thrive in a fast paced, accountable, sales environment: prospecting, building pipelines and closing business.
  • Your communication skills are outstanding - you consistently stand-out as a relationship builder amongst your peers
  • A positive attitude and an incredible work ethic
