Salla is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dedicated team of security professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and security events to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Implement and manage security measures and controls to protect company assets.
- Configure, manage, and optimize Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to safeguard web applications from attacks.
- Work with Cloudflare services to enhance security, including DDoS protection, DNS management, and SSL/TLS encryption.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct regular drills.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system architecture and software development practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Two years of experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong background in security analysis and log reading.
- Hands-on experience with Cloudflare services and security features.
- Expertise in Web Application Firewalls (WAF) such as Imperva, F5, or similar.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK stack) for log management and analysis.
- Knowledge of network protocols, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications such as eWPT or OSCP are plus.
