The primary purpose of this role is to represent security within McDonald’s Enterprise Products and Platforms function. This person will become a virtual member of EPP project teams to help guide them in the most effective use of security patterns and services and to help connect them to the right security teams when needed.
This role involves applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate, and verify the security aspects of solutions. Conduct risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation mechanisms. Coordinate with systems architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise and organizational acumen.
This role will be a part of the Global Cyber Security function and Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering team, and will report to the Senior Manager of Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Director of Technology Excellence within Enterprise Products and Platforms.

The expected salary range for this role is $129,800 - $165,490/ per year

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a technical role in the cybersecurity field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to analyze complex cybersecurity issues and devise effective solutions.
• Proficient in strategic planning and risk management to anticipate and mitigate potential security threats.
• Skilled in implementing effective mitigation strategies to prevent security breaches and minimize damage.
• High level of integrity and professionalism to maintain the trust and confidence of stakeholders.
• Experience in managing cybersecurity measures and protocols to safeguard the organization's digital assets.
• Adept at coordinating with various business units to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration.
• Proficient in conducting thorough audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Experience with enterprise level IT systems such as enterprise HR systems, Financial Systems, ERP systems, or related enterprise software
Preferred Qualifications
• Intermediate level IT or security certification
• Deep experience in a specific area of cyber security such as networking, identity management, EDR system management or similar.
