Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview:

As a Cybersecurity Engineer you will play a role in both technical and leadership capacities. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of protection against cyber threats and oversee systems, which monitor, detects, and responds to security incidents. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the organization cybersecurity infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of protection against cyber threats.

Specific Job Duties:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure and measures to ensure the secure operation of the company's systems and data.
  • Analyze security audits and vulnerability assessments, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders on the development and enforcement of security standards and best practices.
  • Assist with responses to audit and diligence requests from the company's partners and clients.
  • Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends
  • Contribute to the development and updating of the SOC policies and standards.
  • Assist with security-related documentation and reporting as needed.


Shift: 1st - Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM 

Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.

  • Experience in Linux is a must
  • 3-5 years of cybersecurity related experience required 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools:

  • Understanding the basic cybersecurity principles, risk management, and threat modeling.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewall management and VPNS.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux including security features and vulnerabilities.
  • Understand of encryption, cryptographic protocols, and key management.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with various security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus software and vulnerability scanners.
  • Ability to design secure systems and infrastructure.
  • Conduct a risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency in various information security technologies, networks, and operating systems.
  • Understanding of privacy and security issues that arise in a technology-focused, data-driven business.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

The current base salary range for this role is between $81,118 and $138,120.  Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
