CS is looking for a cybersecurity engineer with experience at the system/software level and the vehicle level (aircraft/rotorcraft) to create a DO-326A preliminary security risks assessment (similar to a TARA).
CS is mandated to initiate the preliminary security assessment on the whole system by performing:
- aircraft and system level scope definition
- aircraft and system level preliminary risk assessment
- initial security process definition.
Candidates need to have
- proven experience in cybersecurity at product development level (different from IT level, which might still be considered)
- experience with vehicle manufacturers and/or supplier (ideally: part 27/29 eCFR but not limited to aerospace)
- engineering degree and aerospace, computer science, electrical engineering
- ideally: knowledge of DO-326A/DO-356A/DO-355 or (alternatively) an equivalent
- the key here is someone strong enough in system engineering but experience with threat analysis/threat modeling.
