Position Overview:
As a Cyber Security Engineer at TIV, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive security measures for our clients' networks, systems, and applications. You will be at the forefront of strengthening our clients' digital landscapes against emerging cyber threats. Your role extends beyond routine cybersecurity responsibilities; it's about cultivating a proactive, strategic approach to security that aligns with our clients' business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Network and System Security Enhancement:
- Spearhead the design, implementation, and enhancement of advanced security measures for networks, systems, and applications.
- Evaluate and deploy security technologies, including Firewalls, NAC, SIEM, DAM, DAP and Active Directory Security.

Security Policy Development:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate and implement robust security policies and procedures.
- Ensure that security policies align with industry standards, compliance regulations, and the unique operational needs of our clients.

Incident Response and Mitigation:
- Lead the charge in responding to security incidents swiftly and effectively, employing a comprehensive incident response plan.
- Conduct thorough post-incident analyses, extracting actionable insights to fortify our clients' cyber resilience.

Risk Reduction to Business Operations:
- Work closely with clients to understand their business processes, identifying potential security risks, and devising strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Develop and implement risk reduction initiatives that safeguard business continuity and data integrity.

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing:
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses in clients' systems and networks.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and execute mitigation plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, IT or a related subject.

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar cybersecurity setting, preferably in a consulting environment.

Demonstrable expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive security measures for networks, systems, and applications.

Proficiency in security technologies, including SIEM, Firewalls, DAM, DAP, Syslog, NAC, Web and Content filtering solutions.

Working knowledge of these technologies or domains; Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory Security, Linux, Cisco IOS, Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL

In-depth understanding of cloud security best practices and experience securing assets in cloud platforms.

Effective problem-solving, analytical skills and the ability to adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats and technologies.

Good customer service skills and experience to interact professionally with clients, understand their needs, and deliver high-quality service.

Effective written and verbal communication in English to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Able to work under tight deadlines and cope with pressure while maintaining a high standard of work and attention to detail.

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly valued.
Duration of Engagement:
This is a full-time position for a period of one year, subject to extension based on performance and project requirements.
Budget and Compensation:
A competitive salary package will be offered, based on qualifications and experience. Compensation will be linked to the achievement of project milestones and deliverables.
