Spectrum seeking a Cyber Range Content Developer who will be the subject matter expert focusing on cyber scenario development services on the supported cyber range environments in support of the customer’s training and exercise requirements. Ideal candidates for this position have previous cyber scenario content development experience on cyber training and range environments. They have experience creating and managing immersive and realistic events that emulate traditional cyber threat actors operating against our cyber operators responsible for defending the AF enterprise network. They maintain an awareness of USCYBERCOM updates and changes to individual and collective training requirements for cyber mission forces. They are familiar with and adhere to DOD, AF, and organizational policies for developing Air Force Instructions (AFIs) and Operating Instructions (OIs). Cyber range content developers should have excellent communications skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team. They must be able to connect with Joint and Service range and training counterparts to maintain awareness of changes that could impact AFI 17-202 Volume 1, Cyber Crew Training. Ultimately, the ideal developers are both able to lead and follow, while helping the customer provide oversight and manage the 688 CW’s cyber range and exercise requirements in support of operator training and certification.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
•Create immersive realistic cyber training environments to be integrated into current training requirements
•Advise leadership on the resources required to produce results given a timeline/scope of tasks
•Perform integration functions as needed to aid in ingesting Content Development products
•Interface with clients to refine training requirements at the technical level
•Coordinate and conduct event collection, log management, and event management
•Develop custom content based on threat intelligence
•Own and manage content release schedules
•Research and analyze malware, security threats and vulnerabilities
•Utilize proficiency with Python/other coding/scripting languages to support content development
•Deliver Monthly Status report
•All other documentation as required by the Contractor Statement of Work such as but not limited to trip reports, training reports, analytical reports, etc.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
•Minimum of three (3) years' experience developing cyber related content
•Bachelor's degree or 6 years' work experience may be submitted for a Bachelor's degree
•Active TS/SCI clearance is required
Desired Requirements:
Three (3) years cyberspace exercises and/or cyberspace range experience.
Additionally, one or more of the following: BS Information Technology (IT)-related degree
IAT Level II certification (DoDD 8140)
Five years' experience in Cyber Security/Network Operations
Prior certification on a DoD cyber weapon system within the last five years
