The MicroStrategy Customer Renewals Manager role was born out of the need to accommodate each customer’s unique set of requirements as they adopt MicroStrategy technology. This individual will manage a portfolio of customers who have implemented our technology solutions with the goal of increasing product usage and overall adoption. Beyond direct interaction with our customers, this individual will work with internal MicroStrategy business units to ensure customer needs are being met in a timely manner. In order to succeed in this role, this individual must have an intense focus on customer success with strong influence abilities.

Job Description:
• Monitor and track subscription and contract renewal dates.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product Development, and Marketing teams to align on acct strategies and objectives.
• Collaborate with the legal team for contract negotiations and agreements.
• Manage all aspects of the contract renewal process, including quoting, negotiated paperwork, customer PO/approval process, follow-up on late payments.
• Continuously improve your negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
• Create and maintain accurate renewal forecasts to help the company plan its revenue goals.
• Negotiate renewal terms and pricing.
• Develop engagement strategies to inform customers about product updates, enhancements, and best practices.
• Implement strategies to defend against customer churn rates.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and SaaS product knowledge.
Qualifications:
• Up to 3 years of experience working with customers
• Fluent English is a must (any additional language is a plus)
• Client-focused attitude — a customer advocate
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written are a must
• Previous direct experience and demonstrated comfort in interacting with Senior Management will be a plus
• Self-starter with an ability to identify areas for improvement
• Must possess an enthusiastic personality and foster a positive work environment
• Understanding of packaged application software implementation practices
• Strong analytical skills
