Customer Relationship Management Manager

Leads the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team to drive the utilization of data and other insights into the commercial go to market approach – identifying customer targets, helping to shape offers and championing measurement.

We have a flexible work environment and this person can work remotely across Canada, but you must be currently located in Canada.

Duties:

  • Works closely with the sales team, Customer and Channel marketing and Programs to implement CRM best practice into commercial activity.
  • Accountable for the continued evolution and implementation of the Syngenta CRM strategy that will enable and support revenue and profitability growth for Syngenta Canada and its customers.
  • Works with commercial leadership to define agreed metrics and KPIs which gauge customer(s) performance and evaluation of commercial marketing and sales strategies, in order to provide effective insight support across commercial teams.
  • Leads a team of two direct reports to deliver CRM-supporting data initiatives – market share data, NPS and other market research. Manage the team budget and lead personnel by setting objectives, measuring, recognizing and rewarding performance and coaching team members.
  • Be a commercial champion for data best practices, requirements and utilization, partnering with the Data Operations team to identify business requirements and evaluate solutions, particularly in Salesforce.

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Agriculture or Marketing.
  • 5-10 years of sales/marketing experience in the Agriculture industry.
  • Excellent foundation in marketing strategy and CRM.
  • Excellent communications (i.e., PowerPoint, oral and written), interpersonal, negotiating, analytical, problem solving/resolution making, teamwork and planning/organizing skills.

Preferred:

  • Crop Protection specific experience.
  • Salesforce CRM.
